Reservations Manager - Midlands

We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Reservations Manager to grow room revenue and strengthen our market presence. You will lead the development of Room Reservations with new and existing corporate client & Leisure guests, 

The role

Generate and maximise revenue though managing all distribution channels by focusing on ranking,
visibility, rate parity, daily reviewing and updating of rates and packages on all sites. To assist in the
reporting and analysing of rooms statistics, which will be the basis for setting and revising the rate
strategy. Work closely with the sales team to be innovative in driving occupancy. Achieve overall
revenue budgets.

Key responsibilities include:

▪ To assist in the daily, weekly & monthly reporting
   of room's revenue & distribution channel statistics
   to be carried out.
▪ Responsible for forecasting rooms revenue daily.
▪ Ensure correct rates are set on all distribution
  channels with rate parity on all.
▪ Ensuring special offers and packages are
   reviewed and updated weekly.
▪ In the absence of the Revenue Manager chair the
   yield meeting each week and ensure all items are
   actions immediately. Produce minutes from this
    meeting. 
▪ Daily inventory update and rates in Reservations
   System. 
▪ Responsible for maintaining Reservations System,
  ensure rates, profiles & packages are up to date. 
▪ Responsible for the hotels voucher system.
▪ Constantly spot checking rates using all channels
   and any other sources of rate and
    competitive information and resolving any rate
    issue immediately. 
▪ Maximises revenue opportunities through all
   channels of distribution, Hotel Reservations,
   Groups and Tours, Websites etc.... 
▪ To assist in Sales and Marketing activities as
   required, including digital marketing. 
▪ Training of reservations team in taking
   reservations, converting the booking, up selling
    and understanding the rate strategy. 
▪ Ensure you and all your team members are fully
   conversant with the Company's
   Information. Security & PCI DSS Policy and that all
    your colleagues have completed the online
    training. 
▪ Responsible for uploading of new websites if
   requested.
▪ Ensure all emails & telephone messages are
   answered within 2 hours

About you

You will have proven Reservation Management experience within the hotel industry, with a strong understanding of corporate and Leisure Rooms sales.
